Who are you, and what do you do?

My name is Leon Benesty, I am a dj and producer based in Rotterdam city for over more than 20 years now.  I love to make music but also to please the crowd for many years now. Music is my life …

How did your latest release on Dobar House came to be? Tell us about how you started the track, what inspired you etc.

Most of the time when I start in the studio it is “ go with the flow” vibe wise. So I had the vocal already and loved it so much that I’ve build the track around the vocal. Test it a few times and the reactions were great so I decided to send it over to Tom who was doubting because it was a different sounded track as the sound as it is now.

Where was your favourite gig so far and why was it special for you?

I think one of my favorite gigs was Ushuaia Ibiza it is such a nice venue! People over there start dancing as soon as they hit the dance floor I really love it.

If you had to choose: DJ-ing or producing?

I really can’t choose because I started as a dj and when it became important to grow as an artist having your own tracks I start with producing. Nowadays I love to see reactions on own produced tracks! 

Congrats on your success with your track Love Dance and Feel, can you tell us more about that?

Love Dance Feel started as an idea, tested it serveral times when I had a gig. The reactions were awesome. Then I send it over to SJRM and they did their thing on it and then the track was finished! The support was so crazy the track launched as a rocket ! So thankful for everyone who give their support! 

Speaking of success, Do It Like Oh also got some big recognition with 170k plays on Spotify as we speak! Any comments? 😊

What's next for you in the coming months?

Some cool gigs are coming and new tracks will be released this year! Please keep an Eye on my socials! 

Why is Dobar House the best label on the planet earth?

They are Independent and Tom is a great guy and artist as well! And I love to see that they building rock solid over the last years !! ❤️❤️❤️
